Whole-Home Wi-Fi Mesh Solution

We developed a complete Wi-Fi EasyMesh implementation enabling seamless whole-home coverage through coordinated multi-AP operation. The solution provides unified network management, intelligent client steering, and automatic backhaul optimization.

The implementation follows Wi-Fi Alliance EasyMesh specification for interoperability and includes advanced features like multi-band operation, self-healing, and dynamic path selection.

Complex Wireless Coordination

  • Multi-AP Coordination: Synchronize configuration, channel selection, and power levels across multiple access points
  • Seamless Roaming: Enable clients to move between APs without connection drops or noticeable latency
  • Backhaul Optimization: Intelligently route traffic between APs using wired or wireless backhaul
  • Client Steering: Direct clients to optimal AP based on signal strength, load, and band capabilities
  • Onboarding & Discovery: Automated AP discovery, provisioning, and network join procedures

EasyMesh Protocol Implementation

Our team implemented the complete EasyMesh protocol stack with enhanced features:

Controller & Agent Architecture

Developed Multi-AP Controller for centralized management and Agent implementation for coordinated operation. IEEE 1905.1 transport layer for AP communication.

Intelligent Steering

Implemented band steering (2.4GHz ↔ 5GHz), AP steering based on RSSI/load, and 802.11k/v/r protocols for fast roaming. Client capability detection for optimal placement.

Backhaul Management

Dynamic backhaul path selection supporting both Ethernet and wireless backhaul. Automatic failover, load balancing, and topology optimization for maximum throughput.

Configuration Sync

Centralized SSID, security, and QoS configuration pushed to all APs. Channel and power coordination to minimize interference and maximize coverage.
