Enterprise Wi-Fi Validation Framework

We developed a comprehensive Wi-Fi testing and validation framework for a major wireless router manufacturer, covering functional testing, performance benchmarking, interoperability testing, and Wi-Fi Alliance certification preparation across Wi-Fi 6/6E product lines.

The solution included automated test suites, RF chamber validation, multi-vendor interoperability testing, and continuous integration with nightly regression testing, significantly reducing time-to-market while improving product quality.

Comprehensive Test Framework

Our QA team built an end-to-end Wi-Fi testing solution with automation and validation tools:

Test Automation

Developed Python-based test framework using pytest and Robot Framework, automated configuration management via SSH/Telnet, implemented packet capture and analysis with Scapy, and integrated with Jenkins for CI/CD with nightly regression runs.

RF & Performance Testing

Conducted RF chamber testing with conducted and radiated measurements, performed throughput testing with iperf3 and Chariot, validated roaming performance with 802.11k/r/v, and measured latency with ping and custom tools.

Interoperability Testing

Validated with diverse client ecosystem (Apple, Samsung, Intel, Qualcomm, MediaTek), tested multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android), verified WPA3-SAE, OWE, and legacy security modes, and validated roaming across mesh nodes.

Certification Support

Prepared test plans aligned with Wi-Fi Alliance requirements, executed pre-certification testing to identify issues early, supported on-site certification at authorized labs, and achieved first-pass certification success rates above 95%.
